# Autumn Wildlife

> Autumn is a busy time for wildlife as animals prepare for the coming winter. Birds migrate to warmer climates, often traveling thousands of miles. Squirrels and other small animals gather and store food to ensure they have enough to eat when resources become scarce. Deer and other mammals grow thicker coats to protect against the cold. These behaviors are fascinating to observe and remind us of the instinctual drive for survival in the animal kingdom.
