5 月 16 日，《最终幻想》游戏开发公司 Square Enix 在最新发布的 2022 Q1 季度收益报告中提到，作为 2022 年中期业务战略的一部分，将把 NFT 扩展到更多游戏产品。报告中透露，Square Enix 一直在与 Web3 风投公司 Animoca Brands 合作探索链游市场，预计将在近期建立一个海外实体来处理「发行、管理和投资我们自己的 Token」。
