#dubai feels different now: long-time and more recent residents alike seems to be seeing the city through new, clearer, more grounded, and grateful hearts and eyes perhaps in large part thanks to its much more sensible covid-19 policies that struck the right balance between freedom, quality of life, and safety, as well as the spate of legal changes enacted of late to welcome non-foreigners more fully and less un-equally.
