As serial entrepreneur, educator, and refugee from the corporate world, Shawn spent his corporate career leading global SAP projects ending with CIO and CEO roles.  He was introduced to the blockchain in 2015 and began investing in 2017.  In 2019, he jumped full time into crypto as a technical trader (degen) but made the switch to DAO life in 2021 when he joined [Index Coop](https://indexcoop.com/) DAO leading the people operations & governance communications. In August 2022, he found his way over to [Gitcoin](https://gitcoin.co/) where he currently leads Governance. His writings and research on DAO topics can be found [here](https://linktr.ee/shawnlgrubb).  When he is not behind the keyboard, you can find him in the woods backpacking, bush crafting, making maple syrup, stalking game, working to restore wild game habitat and talking endlessly about the off-grid lifestyle.
