Deepfakes are ai generated images, videos or audio of an individual that are ultrarealistic. But not real. & there are some very nasty and potentially life threatening implications of this technology

What can be done to solve this?
-------------------------------

We are developing an open standard for generative ai companies to append digital signatures to ai generated images which can then be read by frontend clients.

How does this work?
-------------------

The Answer is Simple. Math.

Companies get publicly verified keys, which they can use to create a digital signatures they can append to the image. The best part is it doesn’t really change the image visually, but makes it easier for computers to read and make a distinction.

Companies like instagram, can read this _digital watermarks_ & then verify if something is real or a deepfake

Why an open standard?
---------------------

The internet as we know today was built by countless visionaries that developed HTTPS, HTML, SQL, JSON & many more that are pioneering Billions of Devices every second.

It is extremely necessary to do this & enable a new era of deepfakes, and curb potential implications of this groundbreaking advancement
