# Beneath the Veil

*From hidden truths to distant glows*

The "[Beneath the Veil](https://www.submithub.com/link/skeeboo-beneath-the-veil)" album is a collection of music started with a simple idea: taking "[A Glimmer of Hope](https://skeeboo.bandcamp.com/track/a-glimmer-of-hope)", an orchestral piece I released in 2019 on "[Moods and Modes Vol. II](https://skeeboo.bandcamp.com/album/moods-and-modes-vol-ii)", and letting it grow in different directions. Each track in the EP is like a new chapter, expanding the same melodic themes but exploring different moods and colors.

The journey begins with "Beneath the Veil," a downtempo, trip-hop rework that uncovers a more reflective, dreamy side of the original. "Embers of Hope" follows, first as a purely orchestral piece, and then as a song with lyrics, a reminder that even in the darkest moments, hope never fully disappears. "A Distant Glow" carries us further, offering a glimpse of something brighter ahead, with a piano-led orchestral ballad that slowly builds toward an epic ending. Finally, "The Other Side" closes the EP with an ambient atmosphere, giving space for a simple piano theme to rise and guide us to the end of the journey.

If the original "Glimmer of Hope" was a single spark, "Beneath the Veil" is the exploration of everything that spark could become: the sadness, the resilience, the light breaking through.
