The voice _thundered_ from _all directions_ at once, loud yet soft — not composed of words you once knew — _only_ pure thought.

_(Omnipotent, it even came from directions you once didn’t know.)_

Before you lay the _past_, _present_, _future_ — like blur trapped in a raindrop.

The _harder_ you stared into the light, _stronger_ it pulled. Not a care in the world — _bliss_. One by one, threads that held you against the mortal realm slowly released — like plucked hair.

Freedom.

Absolute love.

No judgment before the judge.

Your pain dissolved.

FOREVER PAST.

FOREVER FUTURE.

FOREVER **NOW**…

Your guide is they whom you _missed_ the most. Them, who’s memory once _burned_ your chest — but that was in the mortal realm…

* * *

> Now is now: the forever.

> You are safe in infinite light —
> 
> — illogical is temporal sequence… for here, **_time is bright_**.

Colours on trees — none you’ve _ever_ seen, but _gorgeous_.

> Lose the urge to return.

> Your family will be fine — they _are_ fine.

Reach for your guide’s hand — soft, supple, youthful.

Together, step into the light.

That comforting voice — deep rumble — communicates thought to you:

> “Art thou prepared for death?”
