# The Beginnings

Since I was a kid I’ve been in love with creating and any kind of art really, but specifically music was my focus and making music from the second I knew what a piano was.

As I got older and discovered investing (thanks dad) I fell in love with finance and understanding consumer behaviors, and then almost immediately after that technology.

I had access to a lot of different technology from a young age and naturally love video games, computers, anything I could get my hands on.

Naturally getting into music production and DJing my muse immediately became touring and sharing my music with people.

As time moved forward I really wanted more than just sharing my music with people and I felt like the music industry had some deficit for discovering independent talent. Meanwhile you have the major labels with gatekeepers and A&R with frankly no place in the industry somehow controlling everything.

Blockchain entered my life in 2016/2017 first with Bitcoin and shortly after Ethereum. For the first time I really found something compelling I felt like I was early on. Trying to convince my close friends and family to get some BTC with me I had really no luck (until it absolutely exploded and then everybody wanted to buy it over 20K).

NFTs changed everything and gave me a lot of hope for the future. Taking our future back in some capacity and removing the power from the powers that be. NFTs are the most equitable and democratic form of free economy on earth.

They absolutely drew me in and before I knew it had over 40 in my wallet. Some good ones too.. even with the bad I felt like I was part of something bigger than just myself and still got that sense of hope for the future and no longer having “the starving artist”.

Shouldn’t the brave and inventive people be those who are most rewarded?

Somehow we got to a place where the only people in this world making money are doctors (after they run up 500K in debt before their first practice), lawyers (ditto…), and some major outliers inventing products and marketing them in beautiful fashion - Bezos, Musk, etc.

Nonetheless, being so early here and seeing what’s going on around me has led me to start this weekly writing. My goal is to empower anybody that wants to be empowered. Don’t listen to everything I say, I’ll be walking you through my investments from crypto to NFTs, my upcoming music and art I love, blockchain technology as a whole, maybe some common stocks and market reviews.

None of this is financial advice.

Sincerely,

Snyder
