# A Month in Lavillia

It felt like walking along a riverbank. For a long time. The shore kept changing — sometimes rocky, sometimes soft, sometimes slippery. But you kept walking. Not stopping. Just walking beside the water. Watching the ripples, admiring them even.

You were like a grown-up. A little weathered. But also a child, who didn’t have time to throw pebbles or play. You had to keep going. For some reason, you had to stay close to the river.

And then — maybe because it was meant to be — you found yourself in the river. Not beside it. In it. At first it was scary. You splashed around, panicked a little. Then you floated. Just… floated on your back. Looking up at the branches overhead.

It was peaceful. Sometimes still a bit scary — like something might brush your leg in the water. But then a boat passed by. You climbed in. You warmed in the sunlight. You still remembered the chill of the water. And it made the warmth feel even better.

Now you smile. You’re not quite a grown-up, not really a child. You’ve stopped thinking in years or labels. There’s just this — a way of seeing the world that feels… right. And every day, it feels a little more beautiful.

You’re in the boat now. Floating. And sure, you can return to the shore anytime. But for now, you like it here.
