# Legal Stuff (Simplified)

---

Owners have pretty much full rights to do whatever they want with the audio. Remix, distort, write to it and even release it.

By owning a SoundSpark you essentially buy the master rights and own 90% of the copyright to the song. The creator, Michael Morgan will retain 10% of the publishing.

**Super simple.**

Before you release your work commercially, please email [soundsparksNFT@gmail.com](mailto:soundsparksNFT@gmail.com) for publishing Information.

Once a Soundspark has been commercially released it is at the full discretion of the holder on what rights will be transferred to fans or the next buyer. _(This is added so if artists don’t want to give fans the rights to the master recording they don’t have to and can just treat it as a collectible.)_

This is uncharted territory in terms of music law, so let’s pave the way together and help the whole community of creators and fans all win!
