SpiritDAO's NewsletterTechnical Updates Hey everyone! October was a huge month for SpiritDAO — we made major progress across infrastructure, AI, and governance. Bounty System — Fully LiveThe bounty system is now production-ready.Smart Escrow: Funds lock at posting and auto-refund if canceled.Multi-Sig Thresholds: High-value bounties now require multiple leader approvals.Pod Treasury Support: Fund bounties from wallets or pod treasuries.Milestones & Roles: Multi-step payouts and permission control via Hats Protocol. The workflow now supports escrow → bids → approvals → reviews → auto-payment. SensemakerAI — Self-HostedWe migrated SensemakerAI to our own backend (PythonAnywhere), cutting costs from $200 → ~$5/month. Now integrated directly in the app:/sensemaker-ai toolForum thread summaries Next: train it on Temporal Naturalism and SpiritDAO ops docs to serve as a DAO operations assistant. Forum UpgradesNew Hats Protocol–based token gating ensures consistent permissions. Added a full moderation suite (pin, lock, delete, mute, report logs) and polls with real-time results and wallet-verified votes.🏗 Pod Infrastructure BreakthroughPods now support multi-leader governance using a proxy + Leader Hats:All leaders share equal admin rights.Pods can be deleted via quorum (3+ signatures, 67%) through an on-chain proposal. Result: fully decentralized pod management. Unified SystemThree core systems — Bounties, Pods, and Forum — now run under one unified Hats Protocol permission model. Role changes sync across all modules automatically with audit trails. BonusWe submitted our ETH Denver talk proposal highlighting SpiritDAO’s intersection of AI, governance, and community coordination. Final thoughtsI want to share my deep appreciation for all of you who remain curious, excited, and optimistic about what we are working towards here at SpiritDAO. While the past few months have been quite a technical grind (more than I expected) but in retrospect its not surprising, we are innovating DAO tech in ways that have never been done before. I (Ron) continue to dedicate a full-time effort to this project and I am confident that we are close. Battered, beaten, but not at all discouraged—as I have often stated in my talks and efforts, I believe this is the most important work. The app will empower the vision outlined in Self-actualization in the Age of Crisis, an opportunity to begin the genuine construction of alternatives.
