# SpiritDAO June 2025 Update

SpiritDAO's NewsletterCommunity Application Update - Getting CloseThroughout June, our team made significant strides in advancing the SpiritDAO app and its core infrastructure. Early in the month, we identified and troubleshooted critical issues around membership token delegation and proposal handling, engaging closely with Coinbase support to resolve integration challenges. After deploying and auditing all smart contracts, we discovered a bug in a recent Coinbase wallet update affecting transaction data flow, which is being addressed by their team Meanwhile, we built and refined the modular bounty system spanning SpiritDAO and pod-specific bounties. This included infrastructure for bounty creation, bidding, review, approval, milestone management, and on-chain escrow using our community tokens ($SELF and $SYSTEM). Integration with Hats Protocol for permission management was also implemented. We completed a unified notification system to keep members informed when tagged across chats, forums, and proposals, improving community engagement. Thinking Forward: Once the Coinbase issues are resolved, we will be ready to soft launch with our small but committed community base. From here we want to explore a 'Deconstruction' Event, where we will gather for an in-person retreat to explore the past four years of efforts, our completed app (v1), and formalizing several aspects of the nonprofit management, fundraising, and next steps. More to come on this later. Our target for an initial rollout (assuming Coinbase resolves the core issue) is towards end of July. Greater Sum Foundation - Accelerator / PitchWe completed our Accelerator cohort with the Greater Sum Foundation and submitted our "Short Pitch" to their competition (video below). The intent being to showcase a scalable, nonprofit solution quickly and concisely. Accepted entries will be asked to compete in a more extensive pitching round.
