# Tutorial: Running a Taiko Node using Mintair

**Are you ready to run your Taiko node? Let's get started! Follow these steps carefully and you'll be set to go!**

**STEP 1: Connect your wallet to Mintair**

Connect your wallet using Metamask or your preferred wallet provider & select Taiko.

**STEP 2: Choose your Plan**

Choose the plan you want to run your node for & you’ll see a section to paste your Blockpi Holesky API

**STEP 3: BlockPI Holesky API**

Go to [**BlockPI**](https://blockpi.io/) and click on Launch App.

Log in with your Google account & set up your account by verifying details.

**STEP 4: Generate API**

Confirm your pricing plan & you will see a prompt like below. Select Ethereum Mainnet & Holeksy Network. You can name your API Key whatever you like, for example, TaikoAPI. Then click on **Generate**.

**STEP 5: Your API Key is ready!**

You can see your Blockpi dashboard & API key section. Copy your API key and it will look like this:

`https://ethereum-holesky.blockpi.network/v1/rpc/[YOUR-API-KEY]`

Copy the `[YOUR-API-KEY]` section, go back to your Mintair Dashboard and paste it (shown in Step 2).

**STEP 6: Import your Taiko node Wallet**

You will see the `Show Key` button, save your private key since it will be shown **once**. Go to Metamask or your preferred wallet provider & import your new wallet using this private key.

**STEP 7: Add Holesky Network to your wallet**

Go to [**Chainlist**](https://chainlist.org/) & connect the account that you imported, and search **Holesky**. Add the network to your Metamask & confirm.

Note: Don’t forget to check “Include Testnets”.

**STEP 8: Add some Holesky ETH to your wallet**

Go to the [**Holesky Faucet**](https://holesky-faucet.pk910.de/) and paste your wallet address. Start mining!

**STEP 9: Claim your rewards & Check your BlockPI dashboard.**

Once you’ve collected enough ETH, claim your rewards & check your wallet. You can also see your progress on your BlockPI dashboard.
