Bitwise Asset Management has withdrawn its application to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for an ethereum futures ETF. Meanwhile, an amended SEC filing by Grayscale on Wednesday appears to indicate that the firm has also suspended plans to offer ethereum (ETH) futures products. Grayscale last week filed registration documents with the SEC for three new ETFs, the Grayscale Ethereum Futures ETF, the Grayscale Global Bitcoin Aggregate ETF, and the Grayscale Privacy ETF. But in a revised document dated May 17, only proposals for a global bitcoin composite ETF and a privacy ETF were revealed.
