# Getting started on Starknet with Argent wallet

So, if you want to get started with Starknet, then first of all you need a wallet. For starters, I chose the Argent wallet:

In this article, we will consider its step-by-step installation for Chrome browser.

1\. Go to Chrome web store and install:

2\. After installation, a page should automatically open where you can create or import a wallet:

3\. Press "Create new wallet" then confirm disclaimer and create password. At the end, click the “Finish” button. Now the wallet is installed and located in the browser extension section:

4\. Next, go to the wallet and save the seed phrase. If you have not done so yet, the button will be immediately on the main page of the interface.

5\. That's it, the wallet is ready to go. So far, the network is Testnet by default, but you can easily switch to the Mainnet.

Of course, you need some ETH to interact with the network. There are several ways to get it. I use bridges from other networks, for example:

For Goerli testnet:

For mainnet:
