And just like that, I became a godfather to a cute daughter named May. One year passed, and it's her first birthday, which is an important day for me. I want to prepare a special and unique gift for her. So I picked up my paintbrush, which had been sealed for several years. Although I rarely paint oil paintings after work, I believed I could create a piece to celebrate her birthday. After some time and effort, a simple portrait was completed. Ordinary! That was my initial impression of the artwork. It didn't have anything particularly special. Imagining a little girl, she should have many possibilities, emotions, and thoughts, but this portrait failed to capture them. They needed to be expressed through different colors, different lines. I looked at my paintbrush, canvas... Hmm... I don't think I can do it all at once. I turned to look at my mouse, keyboard, and graphics tablet. Oh! I'm a CG designer. Maybe using these would be the right choice. I turned on the computer and started my creation with various software, AI, and more. This is how this series came about – expressing a little girl's thoughts, emotions, and possibilities through the colors and lines of each portrait. Each one is unique, with its own personality, yet all portraits of the same person. As each portrait appeared one by one, I suddenly realized... it was just an image that could be copied and pasted. How could I give it uniqueness, individuality? This led me to discover the concept of NFT through gathering information. Forgive my limited knowledge; it was at this moment that I learned about NFT. And so, I began the process of minting NFTs. I expect this series to have 1000 different artworks with various colors and lines. Everyone has personality, everyone has different emotions. I hope you can find works here that resonate with your emotions and thoughts, or artworks with the colors and lines you admire, long for, and love. Open the door to thoughts and imagination, and a simple portrait can lead us into another world. 22年5月一个可爱的小女孩出生了，她的父母，我的挚友给她起名叫May。 就这样我的有了一个可爱的干女儿May。 一年过去了，到了她人生的第一个生日，对于我来说这是一个重要的日子，我要为他准备一个特别的，独特的礼物。于是我拿起了我封印了几年的画笔，虽然工作后很少画油画但是我觉得自己可以完成一幅作品为她庆祝生日。  经过一段时间的努力一幅简单的肖像画完成了。普通！这是我对这幅作品的第一印象，没有什么特别的地方。 想象着一个小女孩，她应该有很多种可能性，很多情绪，思绪，这一幅肖像画完全没有表现出这些。这要通过不同的色彩，不同的线条，来表达。我看了看画笔，画布....嗯....我好像没办法一下子画那么多...转身看了下我的鼠标，键盘，手绘板 ，哦！我是一个CG设计师..也许用这些才是正确的选择。 打开电脑，通过各种Soft，ai等等开始了我的创作。 这就是这个系列的由来，通过每一幅肖像画的色彩与线条表现一个小女孩的思绪，情绪，可能性。每一张都是独特的，有着个性的，又是同一个人的肖像画。 随着一张一张的肖像画出现后，我突然发现..这只是一张可以复制粘贴的图片。如何才能赋予它独特性，唯一性？通过一些情报收集NFT的概念进入了我的视野，原谅我的学习不足..我是这个时候才知道NFT的。 就这样我开始了NFT的铸造。 这个系列我预计有1000种不同色彩，线条的作品。 人人都是有个性的，人人都是有不同情绪的，希望这里可以找到与你的情绪，思绪契合的作品，或者你憧憬的，向往，喜欢的色彩，线条的作品\*\*。\*\* 打开思想和想象的大门，一幅简单的肖像画可以带领我们进入另一个世界。 --- *Originally published on [stone](https://paragraph.com/@stone-9/goddaughter-may)*
