Using SP1, a powerful zkVM, any OP Stack chain can now integrate zero-knowledge proofs in under an hour. This upgrade provides faster finality, lower costs (as low as 0.5 cents per transaction), and easy integration, making zkEVMs accessible without deep cryptography expertise. OP Succinct enhances Ethereum scaling while keeping the developer experience seamless and customizable through Rust. This initiative aims to simplify complex financial processes and drive mass adoption by abstracting complexities through AI-powered interfaces. By 2026, Mode envisions AI agents dominating onchain transactions, handling tasks like risk management, yield generation, trading, and governance participation. To support this, Mode launched the Mode AIFi Accelerator, offering funding up to $150,000, mentorship, and technical assistance for innovative AI and DeFi projects.
