Here you go world…Mise en Place Equipment:Loaf panCutting boardChef’s knifeSmall skilletMedium bowlWooden spoon if you don’t want to use your handsIngredients:~1.5lb ground meat (beef, turkey, lamb, etc.)EVOO1/2 onion, chopped (white, red, yellow, etc.)2 cloves garlic, minced1/4 cup ketchup or BBQ sauce of choiceA few dashes of Worcestershire sauce1 teaspoon of seasoning (Italian seasoning is simple, easy, and always available, so this is my go-to)1 teaspoon of kosher salt1/2-3/4 cup of breadcrumbs (depending on preference)1 eggInstructionsHeat oven to 350FHeat olive oil on low/medium heat in skillet, cook onion until translucent, but I personally like to caramelize a bitAdd garlic for 30 seconds and cook until fragrant then cool the mixtureIn medium bowl mix together cooled onion/garlic mixture with all other ingredientsPut mix in loaf pan or form into loaf on banking sheetBrush additional ketchup/BBQ sauce on top of loafBake ~50-60 minutes until cooked (time varies depending on meat)…check Google, but for ground turkey/chicken I shoot for 165FRemove from oven and cool for a few minutes otherwise you’ll burn your mouth and be pissed (learn from my mistakes)Other Notes:I call it “Mystery Meatloaf” because I mix and match ingredients based on what I have in my fridge, but recipe above is my go-to mix, if you willHave fun and get creative with mixing and matchingIf you learned something or tried this recipe, like this post, share it, let me know what you think!I still don’t quite know what I’m doing here on mirror :) ************************ ## Publication Information - [@t0talreturn](https://paragraph.com/@t0talreturn/): Publication homepage - [All Posts](https://paragraph.com/@t0talreturn/): More posts from this publication - [RSS Feed](https://api.paragraph.com/blogs/rss/@t0talreturn): Subscribe to updates
