Builder Rewards is on! 20 ETH in weekly rewards for the top 100 weekly builders on Base, running until September 22. With a revamped scoring system, reward boosters, and a refreshed mini app, there’s never been a better time to build.
Last spring, we launched Base Builder Rewards to automatically recognize and reward the best builders on Base. We’ve already distributed over 25 ETH to 400+ unique builders. No applications, no manual reviews, just public recognition for the great work they're already doing.
This summer, we’re kicking off a new cycle of Builder Rewards, with new features, reward boosters, stats reset, smarter scoring, and 20 ETH in rewards. There’s never been a better time to start building!
Starting today, we’ll be distributing 2 ETH per week to the most active builders on Base, for 10 weeks straight.

The weekly prize pool resets every Monday at 12 PM UTC and is split across three tiers based on impact and activity:
Tier 1: Top 10 builders share 1 ETH
Tier 2: Next 25 builders share 0.5 ETH
Tier 3: Next 65 builders share 0.5 ETH
We’re making Builder Rewards even more fun and rewarding with new features:
We’ve made it easier to qualify for Base Builder Rewards. You only need: a Basename, Builder Score ≥ 40.
Improved system to detect and exclude low-impact GitHub contributions.
Rewards are calculated every Monday and sent to your Farcaster primary wallet (if no primary wallet is set on Farcaster, the first wallet connected to Talent Protocol will be used instead).
Builders who earn 1 ETH or more during the Summer League will be added to the Hall of Fame and will no longer be eligible for weekly rewards until the end of this league.
1 ETH rewards cap ensures fair distribution of rewards across the entire builder community. Hall of Fame builders continue to be recognized on the leaderboard for their outstanding contributions.
Builders can get reward boosters if they fall into one of the following categories:
