For this genesis collection, I followed an intention to appreciate the art of feeling small--and I mean that in no poetic way whatsoever. Quite literally, the artform of insignificance.

I recently visited Western Mono land (presently known as Sequoia, CA) and found myself among ancient giants. Trees pre-dating me by thousands of years cast shadows on my entire existence and as I meandered through these sacred groves--my neck craned up towards the canopy--I couldn’t help but feel _so beautifully insignificant_.

I’ll save you from the run on sentences of my first draft, but I find value in acknowledging my small-ness and reflecting on the fact that I am liberated from all the implications that everything I do has to be some super great, meaningfully significant, awesome _thing_. Of course, the ebbs and flows of the human experience make this easier said than done… but I digress.

And so I interpret this collection as a series of snapshots of these little worlds that might exist in our morning dew or the lint on our window sills. By paying them a visit, maybe we remind ourselves that being little does not exclude us from being whole-- rich, cultivated, and expressive. Having been generated via [Midjourney AI](https://www.midjourney.com/), these pieces are all a little _imperfect_. Maybe there are things out of place or forms that look a little wonky, but _c’est la vie,_ isn’t it?

The worldbuilding itself draws inspiration from my dreamscapes of ecological systems that I hope remain permanently hidden from the anthropocene. The art was generated by my new friend, [Midjourney AI](https://www.midjourney.com/) and I’m listing them on the tezos blockchain in the name of hobbyism and accessibility.
