Funky and soulful electric piano boppin' on top of a crispy drum groove sets the tone for some braggadocious lyrics from Domino. The descending chromatic passage from the electric piano breaks apart the verses, and the hook reminds us of something from the late great Mac Miller. AWESTRUCK! Domino Collect Never Gunna by BabsyMassive synths and catchy repetitive vocals hook you in from the first second, setting the tone for an empowering vibe throughout the track. The intro breaks down into a groovy house pattern with some tasty little synth tones. The return of the intro vocal hook puts this "never gonna" lyric in a new context, one that is more energetic as opposed to introspective. This joint is a minimal gem that combines beautiful melodic material, with colorful synthesis. Definitely a vibe for the week. Never Gunna Babsy Collect fit mami by VALEIt's impossible not to bob along with this track. The uptempo dance rhythms, blending in some flamenco style guitar and horn samples, and of course the catchy empowering hook. VALE floats on top of this track, as the momentum carries the listener from start to finish. Lots of little instrumental variations in synths, some nice breakdowns, and the driving percussion. Definitely a good workout track, or just something to boost your confidence today. fit mami VALÉ Collect I'm Weathered & I'm Twisted by Fi SullivanOpening with gorgeous and slightly ominous vocals on top of dystopian synthesizers, this track is immediately captivating. The intro builds into a drum and bass style drum break with lots of delay and diving rhythmic plucky synth patterns. As the title suggests, this track is a bit haunting but deeply emotive electronica that deserves multiple listens. I'm Weathered & I'm Twisted Fi Sullivan Collect deep in the water by demotapesAnother artist that we're showcasing twice, demotapes has a highly addictive and energetic sound that shouldn't be ignored. The pitched up vocals are extremely catchy, chopped up and laid on top of a minimal and crispy pulsating electro rhythm. Alternating between these vocal chops and more lyrical verses, while the instrumental organically transforms and incorporates tasty little synth layers.
