### **Summary**

The last steps on a long journey can sometimes be some of the most risky - not because they are especially difficult, but because we stop paying close attention to what’s ahead of us. With the end in sight, its easy to feel like it is already over. In sports, this can mean that we “snatch defeat from the jaws of victory”.

This is the situation for the week. We are almost at a transition point, but not quite there yet. This is the final hexagram of the I Ching, and brings the book itself to a close on a hopeful note. Change is near, but not quite here yet.

Mercury comes out of retrograde in a few days, September will bring with it the equinox.
