### **Summary**

Sharing food with others is a mark of civilisation. Now at this time of rest and reflection do we come together. Some may have travelled from near or far, but now arrive in their right places, where they can rest among the collective.

Use this time of rest to clear out any stagnation as well as being with community. Much like turning a vessel upside down to “clear it out”, this week presents an opportunity to do some housekeeping in and around the holiday celebration. Everyone, both high and low, will be met with success if come with good will.

### **Closing remarks**

The first line in change gives us hexagram 14, _Ta Yu_, as an echo.

With the December Solstice now behind us, the days ever so gently begin to change once again. We are at the beginning of a new cycle, and this week is a time to reflect on what we want for the year ahead, and to be with kin. Now is a time where merit can accrue to all of good will, regardless of their standing in the hierarchy.
