### **Summary**

New beginnings are always marked by the chaos of the formless, rushing into being. Much like how a map is unexplored at the beginning of a journey or game, the way ahead is uncertain and dark. Our task is to organise and discover the profusion of new things safely, and to draw conclusions as the territory becomes clearer.

This week may bring a temptation to jump ahead into unfamiliar or strange places. It must be cautioned however that this should only be done with the help of a guide or companion, someone who knows the way. Otherwise, going alone into the uncharted will only end with getting lost, failing whatever you set out to do.

### **Closing remarks**

The third line in change gives us hexagram 14, _Chi Chi_, as an echo.

This week brings the beginning of the Western New Year, and marks a transitional window between January 1st, and Chinese New Year on January 29th 2025. Use these weeks as an opportunity to see and understand the signs of the coming times.
