### **Summary**

The Well and what it symbolises has not changed since ancient times. Rulers of a city will come and go, but its people will always have a need for clear water, one of mankind’s most basic necessities.

This week the Oracle gives pointed advice - the situation is one of renovation work being done. A well that is being lined with stone is temporarily not fit for use, but the work is not in vain, as the result will be clearer water. So too there are times when we must put ourselves in order. We cannot be of use to others in this time, but in the long run it will allow us to accomplish more.

### **Closing remarks**

The fourth line in change give us hexagram 28, _Ta Kuo_, as an echo.
