We are going to touch on all of it. Chrome extensions, keyboard shortcuts, Amazon products, nothing I repeat is outside of the wheelhouse.

**#1. Last Pass**

If you are still saving your passwords into a Notes file on your phone, I pray I pray for your wellbeing. While Chrome and most modern smartphones will save your passwords, there are limitations that arise when you try to access app passwords or use things across devices let’s say if you have an iPhone and a PC. Last Pass solves that. Worth every penny.

**#2.** **Floss Before You Brush**

Why? Because 100% of the time you go into the bathroom you are going to brush your teeth, but we all know that we tell ourselves that we’re going to floss tonight, but if you’re like me, once the 3 minutes on my quip is up, my eyes are barely awake. So put the harder task unguaranteed task before the guaranteed one. Works every time.

**#3. Prevent carpal tunnel; get an Ergonomic Mouse.**

This one changed the game for me. Having to move your wrist and bend it into weird positions is having much more impact on your wrists than you realize. Try an ergonomic mouse with a trackball. It might take you a couple days to adjust, but once you’re up and running you will never look back.

**#4. Libby App**

IYKYK. This is a free app that allows you to access your local library’s digital catalogs. Borrow, place holds, read books, and listen to audiobooks all in one place. This one is a must-have whenever I travel or go on runs.

**#5.** **Video Speed Controller**

Awesome Chrome extension that literally lets you control the speed of pretty much any html5 video with the click of a keyboard shortcut. Customize the speed from 0.07 to 16.0x!

**#6. Having trouble tracking bookmarks? Text yourself!**

It’s all in the title. I always struggle with remembering which platform I saw that one super helpful video or Twitter thread or hilarious meme. Stop bookmarking them and instead “Share”, but just send it to yourself. It makes going back and finding these things incredibly easy.

**#7.** **Backup to the Cloud, Install GDrive to Desktop**

I’ve been burned by a fried harddrive in the past. Since that painstaking two weeks of finding smarter friends that could help me back in college, I made the intentional choice to backup ALL very important files to the cloud. Thankfully, my university gave us 500 GB of space which I still have access to today. To make things easier, Google allows you to create a desktop folder of your GDrive where anything you add automatically gets uploaded to the cloud.

**#8.** **Mouse Without Borders**

This blew my mind. Someone at Microsoft (maybe an intern) literally built a tool to integrate two independent laptops and have your mouse be the primary mouse across two different laptops and create a seamless experience as if the other laptop was just another monitor.

**#9. Traveling with Google Maps Lists**

Whenever I travel, I use Google Maps as my semi-personal journal of events. I keep it short and add notes anytime someone tells me about a place or I had a great meal. This makes it really easy to see all the places visually on a map and is perfect for sharing with someone.

**#10. Multiple Checking/Savings Accounts.**

I have one main checking account, but I have about five to six others that I put into use depending on the various goals I have. I direct deposit fixed amounts to each one and ensure that they have goals associated with them. This way I always have the right amount for everything.
