谈到现在的多公链并行的格局，SBF认为这只是暂时的。 “我看不出有什么理由需要两条（公链）。并不是说不会有，但为什么需要有两个？为什么不是一个？现在有很多公链，他们之间应该存在竞争，竞争推动他们不断进步，并推动世界找出他们想要使用的那一条公链。” 那什么是区块链的终局游戏？真正重要的覆盖上 10 亿用户，交易数万亿美元。这就必然伴随着，公链需要满足每秒数百万次交易。 而且应用是需要原生可组合的，不同的应用程序间可以无缝转移资金，而不是依靠分片、Layer2、侧链才能实现。 因此，在SBF看来，一个单一、原生、具备可组合性、百万 TPS 的公链有巨大的价值。 对于比特币，SBF不认为它是一个通用型区块链，TPS决定了它不足以成为交易的通用媒介，因此与以太坊和Solana存在很大的不同。
