Covid-19, April 16th, 0 - 24, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government) and the Xinjiang production and Construction Corps reported 3504 newly diagnosed cases of new crown pneumonia (3238 cases in Shanghai, 167 in Jilin, 32 in Heilongjiang, 29 in Guangdong, 10 in Zhejiang, 9 in Shanxi, 10 in Qinghai, 10 in Henan, 10 in Shaanxi, 10 in quarantine, 10 in cases, and 10 in cases). Including 1224 cases from asymptomatic infection to confirmed cases (1177 cases in Shanghai, 36 cases in Jilin, 4 cases in Guangdong, 2 cases in Zhejiang, 2 cases in Qinghai, 1 case in Shanxi, 1 case in Fujian and 1 case in Henan). As of 24:00 on April 16, 27885 cases (including 78 severe cases) had been confirmed in 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government) and Xinjiang production and Construction Corps. 22512 local asymptomatic infections were added (21582 in Shanghai, 525 in Jilin, 85 in Jiangsu, 58 in Anhui, 51 in Yunnan, 36 in Shanxi, 28 in Heilongjiang, 21 in Fujian, 21 in Shandong, 20 in Zhejiang, 19 in Henan, 17 in Guangxi, 12 in Hubei, 11 in Guangdong, 7 in Liaoning, 7 in Qinghai, 5 in Hebei, 3 in Jiangxi, 2 in Inner Mongolia and 2 in Shaanxi).
