The shortest tree on Earth is considered to be bonsai "Tankan", which grows in Japan. Its height is only 1 centimeter, and its age is about 300 years. Bonsai is a popular hobby in Japan and other countries, and many people devote a lot of time and effort to create the perfect bonsai.
