# Why I'm Still Here

The market has been rough the past few weeks (which is like a decade in crypto-time). I have been asked why I am still investing my time and money and why I am still planning on launching a project in the future.

The answer is simple: the fundamentals haven’t changed. I still believe in the potential of blockchain technology to change how we interact with data and the web.

And, I still believe in the people. This is still the most welcoming and encouraging business and technology community I have ever been a part of. I hope it stays that way, and I’m going to hang around and do my part to make sure it does.

The price of 1 ETH doesn’t change any of the above. 1 ETH still equals 1 ETH.
