The noisy neighbors are still loud, but your use to it. The room isn’t so dark anymore, but the night light keeps you from bumping your toe on a late night bathroom run. The covers still try to smother you if you fall too deep. Dreams are for reality. Rest is in sleep. A lifetime of images continue to intertwine in the minds eye as it awaits definition of a latter. It’s only 8 hours. Perfectly still and motionless. People can’t stand in a crowded elevator patiently for 3 levels, but to undress, lay down, close your eyes, and purposely make yourself unconscious. I’ll stay chasing your dreams. ## Publication Information - [The Booze Paper](https://paragraph.com/@theboozepaper/): Publication homepage - [All Posts](https://paragraph.com/@theboozepaper/): More posts from this publication - [RSS Feed](https://api.paragraph.com/blogs/rss/@theboozepaper): Subscribe to updates - [Twitter](https://twitter.com/skribble12345): Follow on Twitter ## Optional - [Collect as NFT](https://paragraph.com/@theboozepaper/the-dream-eraser): Support the author by collecting this post - [View Collectors](https://paragraph.com/@theboozepaper/the-dream-eraser/collectors): See who has collected this post
