As it flows the river is shaping the landscape, and the landscape is shaping the river.

We, as individuals and collectives, are also in a never ending process of becoming, shaping others as they shape us.

If this is a process you choose to work within, knowing that there is no end point, then Headwaters will be here to help your journey with stories, questions, practices, and support along the way.

We spend roughly 1/3 of our lives in “work,” interacting with any number of people different from ourselves - in how they think, behave, feel, decide - and we’re expected to work together to achieve complex and challenging outcomes.

So why not approach these interactions with intention?

Let’s explore how we, as individuals and collectives, connect, organize, make decisions, and how we shepherd our own becoming.

Headwaters are the home grounds, those places where we seek not only shelter, but wisdom. These aren't physical places - they're interior spaces, where we recover the feelings and intelligence and intuition that propel our growth and development.

The promise of Headwaters - we won't push content for content's sake. All pieces will:

*   connect to questions about individual and community growth and development (mental, emotional, and spiritual as a means of self-discovery)
    
*   offer concrete advice, practices, or models
    
*   provoke questions for discussion and improvement of the concepts presented
