What is loyalty? It's sacrificing the short term tradeoff for the long term upside. It’s sticking with your gut/conviction especially when the present is tumultuous. It stems from belief in the fundamental premise of why something exists and the promise of what it can morph into in the future. It is a conviction in the intangibles. It’s a representation of how you perceive the world and more importantly how your perceive yourself as a part of it. This stays true when you think of loyalty to an individual, a community or a brand. Your spouse. Your mentor. Manchester United. Your religion. Airbnb. Nike.
