The character was born out of The Rug, a crypto satire news rag written in the style of The Onion. Lil Ruggy first appeared in Vol. 1 Issue #3 of The Rug in a headline where he purportedly was set to co-host the 2022 Grammys. This project may only ever have one edition, or another version may find its way onto the blockchain. The goal was to reward the over 150 collectors of our original NFT newsletter series with something special, and we feel this represents that.
