# EIP4844 อัปเกรดใหม่ให้ค่าแกสถูกจนเป็นแค่อากาศ

จบปัญหาคอขวดเรื่องราคา ให้ค่า Gas ถูกจนเป็นแค่อากาศ ด้วย [#EIP4844](https://twitter.com/hashtag/EIP4844?src=hashtag_click) ข้อเสนอที่สามารถปลดล็อกให้ [@optimismFND](https://twitter.com/optimismFND) มีประสิทธิภาพสูงขึ้นแบบ 100X โดยใช้ Transaction แบบใหม่ที่เรียกว่า Data Blob จะมีวิธีการทำงานและช่วยให้การทำธุรกรรมบน L2 ดีขึ้นแค่ไหน ไปดูกัน

เคยสงสัยมั้ยว่าทำไม Gas บน Rollups ที่ควรจะถูกมากๆ แต่กลับแพงกว่าGas ของ L1 ตัวอื่นๆ คำตอบคือ L2 มีปัญหาคอขวดที่แม้จะรวบ Txn เป็นก้อนเพื่อลดค่า Gas แล้ว แต่พวกเขาไม่สามารถลด Fee ของ L1 Calldata ได้ ทำให้ต่อ Gas บน L2 ถูกแค่ไหนก็ยังต้องจ่ายแพงบน L1 อยู่ดี

This means you're paying cheap L2 fees for state and execution, but expensive L1 fees to post data.  
  
This can be seen on Arbiscan, which shows fees paid for "L1 Calldata", "L2 Computation" and "L2 Storage".  
  
For almost every tx, the L1 fees are the dominant fee component.

Calldata เป็นข้อมูล Read-only ถูกใช้โดย Smart Contract, Rollups ใช้สิ่งนี้เป็น data storage (มีขนาดจำกัดที่ ~10KB/block) [#EIP4844](https://twitter.com/hashtag/EIP4844?src=hashtag_click) เสนอ Txn รูปแบบใหม่ "Data Blob" สามารถพกข้อมูลที่ใหญ่ขึ้น (~1MB/block) แต่เป็นอิสระจาก EVM Execution + Prune ใน 1 เดือน และช่วยลดภาระการเก็บของ Node

การเพิ่มขนาดโดยไม่เพิ่มภาระนี้จะทำให้ Gas Fee บน L2 จะถูกลงมากๆ ถูกลงตั้งแต่ ETH ยังไม่ทำ Sharding ด้วยซ้ำ
