There are moments I catch myself spiraling — not because of what someone else said, but because of the echo of my own thoughts. The card I pulled today from The Four Agreements deck said: “Don’t Take Anything Personally – Release Self-Judgment.” It hit hard. Not because I’m new to this idea, but because it’s a reminder I apparently still need. It’s easy to internalize the noise, especially when the loudest voice is our own. But here’s the punchline: even our own opinions aren’t always based in truth. They’re often reactions, fears, or just outdated programming. The ZAO is built on reprogramming the culture around us. Empowering artists, creators, and communities to question assumptions — especially the ones they hold about themselves. Because how can you create freely if you’re constantly censoring your own potential? Over the next few weeks, you’re going to see what we’ve been building. Music, media, mentorship — all rooted in radical self-expression. But before any of that, start here: Don’t believe everything you think.
