What began as an elitist sect of the Order of Skill quickly became established as a full-fledged Order. The Order of Brilliance aggressively courts champions of the Eisteddfod and its offshoots to join its ranks. Its members specialise in the acquisition, use and study of magical items that help them maintain their competitive edge against the ravages of time, age, and the envy of other Orders. They believe that if they can optimise the human form, they can optimise the entire world.
