What is Render?
===============

Render is a distributed GPU rendering network built on the Ethereum Blockchain. The main purpose of Render is to connect users in need of GPU compute power with partners willing to rent out their GPU.

People having idle GPUs can connect their GPU to the Render Network to receive and complete rendering jobs which can be very beneficial to both parties.

#### **_The Render Token (RNDR)_**

The render token has its own ERC-20 utility token called **_RNDR_**. The token is used to:

*   pay for rendering and streaming services
    
*   fund rendering projects
    
*   pay bonuses for node operators
    

RNDR has registered an all-time high price of **$8.78** in 2021 and registered an all-time low price of **$0.03665669** in 2020.

#### **_Render (RNDR) Currently_**

Render currently has a market cap of **$617,549,912** and ranked around 72nd based on this. Its price is around $1.69 currently but this might change by the time you read this.

The recent proposal to move the Render network to the Solana blockchain did cause some increase in the price of RNDR. But the crypto market is very turbulent right now that these gains were not sustained.
