# UNVEILING MODEL-WIP

For the past 6 months, our team has been working closely with artist [Emily Xie](https://x.com/emilyxxie) on an experiment called [MODEL-WIP](https://model-wip.com/emilyxie). Born during the height of AI mania and in reaction to the headlines around it’s erosion of creativity. MODEL-WIP was created in effort to explore more deeply many artists' relationship to AI in their own practice.

On Thursday from 6 to 8PM at [bitforms gallery](https://x.com/bitforms) in New York City. We’ll be unveiling that work including; Infinite Scroll, a series of works, and Scroll, a model custom-trained on her new works. During the event we’ll dive into questions like, What does it mean to create a body of work purpose-built to be trained on? How are models mediums in themselves?
