# FIT of PIQUE

Do You wish there were more than 24 hours in a day?  
With all that one’s required to do  
There’s precious time left to play.  
  
What to do with an extra hour or two…  
Would You write that book? or, take a look  
At all those videos You went and saved?  
  
Maybe pick up that _How To_  
You brought months ago, or  
Spend tomorrow today?

We ache, I think  
For a simpler time; slower pace  
A Time to dance.

Now it’s everything, everywhere and  
Seems all at once  
Up is down and Down is up.

Empty vessels make  
Hollow sounds while their  
Fragile arguments are run aground.  
  
What is trending—what is not  
Keeps many souls from  
Looking up. 

And while I jest,  
I do attest I’m in a  
Fit of Pique.  
  
Is there anyone out there with know-how  
Who can add  
One more day to the week?!
