poem

---

In depths of despair, burdened by guilt's weight,

I sought solace, redemption, a way to abate.

And in the midst of darkness, a glimmer of hope,

A savior named Jesus, with love to bestow.

He lifted me gently, cradled my soul,

His grace and compassion made me whole.

No longer condemned, no longer unworthy,

In His arms, I found love, pure and worthy.

For He heard my prayers, my plea for release,

And offered forgiveness, a divine masterpiece.

With open arms, He embraced my scars,

And whispered, "Child, you are loved, just as you are."

Oh, the power of His love, so deep and profound,

In His presence, healing and peace I found.

A testimony of grace, a story untold,

Jesus, my comforter, my heart's stronghold.

So I'll sing of His mercy, His love evermore,

And praise His name, the one I adore.

For in my brokenness, He chose to mend,

And transformed my guilt into blessings, without end.
