# Yet I delight in knowing **Published by:** [The poem guy](https://paragraph.com/@tpg/) **Published on:** 2023-12-18 **Categories:** poem **URL:** https://paragraph.com/@tpg/yet-i-delight-in-knowing ## Content In a world obsessed with wealth's allure, I seek not gold, for my heart is pure. For riches may fade, like fleeting mist, But in my knowing, my soul finds its tryst. Take all possessions, material and grand, Strip me bare, leave me with empty hands. Yet, my mind shall dwell in a sacred space, Where the knowing of God's love finds its embrace. No earthly treasure compares to this truth, That Jesus, my Savior, offered His life forsooth. His sacrifice, a tale of boundless grace, Fills my being with love's divine embrace. In my knowing, I find strength and peace, A steadfast anchor when trials increase. For though I may lose worldly possessions, My faith in Christ remains, a priceless possession. So rob me of wealth, lay me bare and bare, But my knowing of God's love, I'll always wear. For faith resides not in silver and gold, But in the knowing of a story untold. In the depths of my spirit, unwavering and strong, The knowledge of Jesus' love will forever belong. No theft, no loss can strip me of this treasure, For His sacrifice fills my soul beyond measure. ## Publication Information - [The poem guy](https://paragraph.com/@tpg/): Publication homepage - [All Posts](https://paragraph.com/@tpg/): More posts from this publication - [RSS Feed](https://api.paragraph.com/blogs/rss/@tpg): Subscribe to updates ## Optional - [Collect as NFT](https://paragraph.com/@tpg/yet-i-delight-in-knowing): Support the author by collecting this post - [View Collectors](https://paragraph.com/@tpg/yet-i-delight-in-knowing/collectors): See who has collected this post
