# NFT Marketplace Aggregator Trading Contract

Currently, there are three major aggregated marketplces: Gem(acquired by Opensea in June 2022), Genie(acquired by Uniswap in July 2022) and Element. In the limited experience of those three markerplaces, Element provides more functionalities and liquidity.

Element declares it saves gas up to 49% by optimized smart contracts and bulk order/cancel. The aggregator itself is not techniccally complicated by adding a “shopping cart” composite function on the original trading contract. I have two orders one is from Opensea and the other one is from Element but also orignially listed on OpenSea. The transaction details are as follows.

In comparison, the Element is still interacting with OpenSea trading contract with one more transfer procedure. Accodingly, the gas usage is more.

The conclusion is the aggregator can only increase the gas fee of aggregated order. The optimization part is constrained to NFTs that listed on Element called by marketplace’s own trading contract and bulk order/cancel.
