# Day 18: There Are No Rules. Get Back Up!

I’ve hit a lull with this writing challenge.

What makes it worse is that the one big rule for consistency was, “Just don’t miss 2 days in a row.”

Well I did. And I wasn’t feeling good about that. So then I missed 3. Then doubt started to creep in. “_I’m not going to finish this thing. How embarrassing - I stated publicly what I was going to do._” But then I remembered something.

Ok, so you missed 2 days in a row. _It’s someone else’s made up rule_! It’s fine. It doesn’t have to be perfect and neither do you! There are no rules!

Get Back Up!

I saw a billboard yesterday that said, “_When life is trying, keep trying!_” Cliche? Yes. Good advice? It is.

Start Again.
------------

Start again in a small way - like this. My article today was about how I struggled writing the rest of these articles. Use where you are. Be real. Be honest. It counts!
