# A giant watching

In the distance a giant stands watching over a landscape at altitude and the beauty it contains. In the Savoie, where a part of the French Alps are, you can see the Mont Blanc watching over the region from almost anywhere. The giant is omnipresent. Especially if you are a bit higher up yourself above the treeline. There, you not only have beautiful views, or the chance to find and touch snow in winter, you also find beautiful plants that live in this uninhabitable terrain. Little purple flowers growing between the rocks, fields of littly fluffy flowers next to mountain lakes and streams, and if you are very lucky: edelweiss. There is so much beauty in our world.
