# A night sky

*We're looking at the night sky in awe in this issue #236 of your weekly poetry shot*

> I can't tell which

> planets and which ones the stars._

Recently, there was this unique moment where at night you could see seven planets aligned in the sky. A rare opportunity. I looked at the sky these days, at night. We even had some cloudless nights, so I really could see the moon and lots of bright spots. Then I realised: I have no idea how to distinguish a planet from a star. Still, the night sky with the moon and the stars was an awesome thing to look at.

On one of the days, I looked up, saw a crescent moon, and it just reminded me of those 1920s illustrations of the moon with a face. A poem was born.
