# Autumn pond

Autumn coloured leaves are windblowin into the pond I once skated on.Yesterday was one of those wonderful autumn days in my home town. So, I decided to have a little walk around. Well, I was in one place, wanted to go to another, and decided to walk from A to B. Part of my walk took me through the Haagse Bos, a big park in the city, that also happens to be where our king has his palace. The colours were wonderful in the park. A blue sky with some white clouds, green grass, and tall, goldenredbrown trees in between. All around a big pond in which autumn coloured leaves were floating. Then I remembered I once spent a day ice skating on this pond. A lifetime ago, and a different season. I also used to bike by here on my way to school. A place filled with memories, that I passed on my way to make a new one. It's good to look back at joyful times past, but it is even better to use it as a base for creating even more joyful times in the future.
