As the water flowed over my feet, I felt a heaviness flowing out of my body I was not aware I was carrying. This is so very much my happy place: the beach, no matter the weather. Especially in these times, we need our happy places more than in previous years. Places where we feel safe, where we feel without sorrow, where we feel light and loved.
