# Jolly walker

He reminds me of my history teacher, and when he's not there, I miss his jolly thumbs ups and cheerful face.Leaving the house 1 minute later than usual, can mean I meet a whole new bunch of people in the park. Sure, there are always the ones who just pass through once, or are only there on Wednesdays or hot days, but most of the people in our park are regular park people. Dog people, runners, walkers. One of them, I refer to as the Jolly walker. He's a kind person, a bit aged, and always greets with a big smile and a thumb up. When I didn't see him for a few weeks, I actually was a bit worried about his health. But then he returned. I never bother to ask him why, or what he does. Much more fun to imagine that and just greet eachother. With a big smile and a thumb up.
