Onchain poetry seems as alive as it ever was, with an explosion of freshly minted poems in the past two weeks. It's good to see so many poets creating new work. Still predominantly on Tezos, as well, but also on other chains. And it's not just poetry itself that excites. In the past two weeks, there were two collections that are poetry-related (and created by poets) that I thought were certainly worth a special mention.CollectFirst is the collection Murder by (Loco)motive, created by OddWritings. He is a true OG onchain poet, who keeps experimenting on the edge of Web3. His crafts wonderful poems and then publishes them, looking for what is the best way to utilise the blockchain landscape. Now, he is turning his poem Murder by (Loco)motive into an AI project, where he uses groups of 3 words from the poem to prompt AI art. Every piece is created by another set of 3 words from the poem. Her most recently minted project is titled Biblio-tech, in which she re-imagines books and writing tools.
